Handmade copper-and-teal ceramic vase — sculpted by hand into a small mountain landscape, finished in iridescent amber, copper and sea-foam glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Like a sunlit mountain rising from a pebbled valley. The upper peaks glow in warm copper and amber tones — the lower half a textured field of teal and seafoam, dotted with iridescent flecks where the reactive glaze pooled in the kiln. Every angle reveals a different colour beneath the surface.

At 11 cm wide and 13 cm tall, this is a perfect small statement size — generous enough for a single bloom or dried grasses, quiet enough to stand alone as sculpture.

Use it for: ✦ a single-stem flower or dried bouquet on a sideboard ✦ a sculptural accent on a bookshelf or mantel ✦ a coastal-meets-mountain decor accent ✦ a meaningful housewarming, hiking or anniversary gift ✦ a self-gift for collectors of slow, soulful objects

— THE DETAILS —

* Width: approx. 11 cm / 4.3 inches

* Height: approx. 13 cm / 5.1 inches

* Opening: approx. 11 cm wide

* Shape: organic sculpted mountain form, slightly irregular

* Materials: stoneware clay, food-safe reactive glaze, lead-free

* Colours: iridescent copper, amber, teal and seafoam — with reactive glaze pooling naturally

* Each piece: 2–4 hours of careful handwork, then 48 hours in the kiln across two firings — no two are alike

* Care: hand-wash recommended; not microwave/dishwasher tested

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped and the reactive glaze flows unpredictably in the kiln, dimensions and pattern may vary slightly. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every vase is truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio in Katwijk aan Zee, just a few streets from the North Sea. Every vase is rolled, sculpted, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet, and never two alike. This one was sculpted from a memory of a mountain catching the last sunlight, its valley still cool in the shade. The reactive copper glaze is unpredictable: it crawls, bubbles and pools in the kiln, creating the iridescent oil-slick finish you see here. We never know exactly what will come out — each piece is a small surprise.
