Coral Cliff Sculpted Vase, Sunset Mountain Handmade Pottery
Incl. BTW
Handmade coral and sage ceramic vase — sculpted by hand into a small mountain landscape at sunset, finished in coral pink, blush, peach and sage green glaze with snow-flecked white on the highest peak. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.
Like a coastal cliff catching the last warm light. A snow-tipped peak rises on one side, while waves of coral, peach and rose flow down through the layers, settling into a sage-green meadow at the base. The reactive glaze crawls and pools in the kiln — soft pink kissing white snow, peach melting into sage, every surface catching the light differently.
At 12 cm tall and 9 cm wide, this is a perfect small statement size — generous enough for a single bloom or dried grasses, quiet enough to stand alone as sculpture.
Use it for: ✦ a single-stem flower or dried bouquet on a sideboard ✦ a sculptural accent on a bookshelf, windowsill or mantel ✦ a coastal-meets-mountain decor accent ✦ a meaningful housewarming, hiking or anniversary gift ✦ a self-gift for collectors of small soulful objects
— THE DETAILS —
* Width: approx. 9 cm / 3.5 inches
* Height: approx. 12 cm / 4.7 inches
* Shape: organic sculpted mountain form with snow-capped peak, slightly irregular
* Materials: stoneware clay, food-safe reactive glaze, lead-free
* Colours: coral pink, blush, peach, sage green and snow white — with reactive glaze pooling naturally
* Each piece: 2–4 hours of careful handwork, then 48 hours in the kiln across two firings — no two are alike
* Care: hand-wash recommended; not microwave/dishwasher tested
Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped and the reactive glaze flows unpredictably in the kiln, dimensions and pattern may vary slightly. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every vase is truly unique.
— THE STORY —
We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio in Katwijk aan Zee, just a few streets from the North Sea. Every vase is rolled, sculpted, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet, and never two alike. This one was sculpted from a memory of a coastal cliff at sunset — the last pink light catching the highest peak, while the valley below was already cooling into sage. The reactive glaze is unpredictable: it crawls, bubbles and pools in the kiln, creating the watercolor surface you see here. We never know exactly what will come out — each piece is a small surprise.
— PACKAGING —
