Handmade starry night ceramic coffee mug — tall, moody, and speckled like a summer sky at midnight. Finished in cream and pale sage at the rim, dripping into deep indigo blue speckled with cosmic dust. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Cream and pale sage rise softly at the rim, then drip down into deep indigo blue — speckled all over like stars, with green and gold streaming down like meteor trails. A tall, moody mug for slow evening coffees, tea by candlelight, or morning matcha in a dark kitchen.

At 14 cm tall and 9 cm wide, it holds a generous serving — perfect for a large coffee, tea, matcha or hot chocolate. The taller shape keeps drinks warm longer. Comfortable to hold. The handle is hand-attached and softly curved.

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped and the reactive glaze flows unpredictably, dimensions and pattern may vary slightly. Small kiln kisses and pooled glaze are part of the wabi-sabi charm — every mug is truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio in Katwijk aan Zee, just a few streets from the North Sea. Every mug is rolled, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet, and never two alike. This one was sculpted from a memory of the Dutch summer night sky — clouds catching the last light while the stars begin to shimmer. The reactive glaze is unpredictable: it crawls, bubbles and pools in the kiln, creating the cosmic surface you see here.

Wrapped with care in recycled tissue paper, packed in a sturdy box with extra cushioning for safe travel, and tied with natural twine. Every order includes a handwritten thank-you note from our studio.
