Handmade alpine mountain ceramic vase — hand-sculpted into a small alpine landscape with two snow-capped peaks rising above a copper-and-moss valley. Finished in cream, snow white, amber, moss green and earth brown reactive glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Like a piece of the Alps in autumn. Two snow-capped peaks rise from a copper-and-moss valley, glazed in warm autumn tones — burnt sienna, olive moss, honey amber. At the base, the glaze pools and runs like water at a mountain stream. A story vase for hikers, alpine dreamers, and lovers of landscape.

At 17 cm tall and 13 cm wide, this is a real statement size — generous enough for a small bouquet of dried grasses, wildflowers, or eucalyptus, striking enough to stand alone as sculpture on a mantel, sideboard or bookshelf.

Use it for: ✦ a small bouquet of dried grasses, eucalyptus or wildflowers ✦ a sculptural statement piece on a mantel, sideboard or bookshelf ✦ a mountain, alpine, or wabi-sabi decor accent ✦ a meaningful gift for a hiker, climber, alpine traveller, or nature lover ✦ a self-gift for collectors of soulful, one-of-a-kind objects

— THE DETAILS —

* Width: approx. 13 cm / 5.1 inches

* Height: approx. 17 cm / 6.7 inches

* Shape: organic sculpted alpine landscape with two snow-capped peaks, slightly irregular

* Materials: stoneware clay, food-safe reactive glaze, lead-free

* Colours: cream, snow white, amber, honey, moss green and earth brown — with reactive glaze pooling and crystallising naturally

* Each piece: 2–4 hours of careful handwork, then 48 hours in the kiln across two firings — no two are alike

* Care: hand-wash recommended; not microwave/dishwasher tested

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped and the reactive glaze flows unpredictably in the kiln, dimensions and pattern may vary slightly. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every vase is truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio in Katwijk aan Zee, just a few streets from the North Sea. Every vase is rolled, sculpted, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet, and never two alike. This one was sculpted from a memory of the Alps in autumn — the first snow catching the peaks while the valley below still burned in copper and moss. The reactive glaze is unpredictable: it crawls, bubbles and pools in the kiln, creating the watercolor landscape you see here. We never know exactly what will come out — each piece is a small surprise.

— PACKAGING —
