Kantschaal — Navy Lace

A deep midnight-blue handmade ceramic bowl, with warm copper-gold undertones glowing through the glaze where it runs thin. Intricate lace impressions radiate outward from the center like a dark night sky full of stitched stars, finished with a dramatic scalloped rim.

Truly one-of-a-kind — shaped and glazed by me (Jo) in my little studio on the Dutch coast in Katwijk aan Zee. No molds, no mass production. Each bowl takes around 4 hours of careful handwork and 48 hours in the kiln.
