Handmade lace ceramic serving bowl — generous statement piece pressed by hand

with delicate vintage lace, finished in soft dusty blue and lavender glaze

that lets the warm terracotta clay glow through. One of a kind, made in the

Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio.

Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Like a piece pulled from a French country attic. The scalloped flower-petal

edge curves up gently, while the inside surface is covered in an intricate

mandala of lace flowers and dots — every line picked out by the terracotta

clay showing through the soft blue glaze. The colour shifts in the light:

periwinkle, lavender, dove grey, with hints of rose where the glaze pools

along the lace ridges.

At 24 cm wide and 8 cm deep, this is a true serving bowl — generous enough

for fruit, salad, bread or pasta on the table, beautiful enough to leave out

as a centrepiece all year round.

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped, dimensions may vary slightly

between bowls. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every bowl is

truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio. Every

bowl is rolled, lace-pressed, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet,

and never two alike. The lace pattern comes from real vintage doilies, pressed

into soft clay so the texture is permanently captured in stoneware. The dusty

blue glaze is applied thinly so the warm terracotta beneath glows through every

lace ridge — a small alchemy of colour and clay.

Wrapped with care in recycled tissue paper, packed in a sturdy box with extra

cushioning for safe travel, and tied with natural twine. Every order includes

a handwritten thank-you note from our studio.
