A lace bowl twenty-eight centimetres across in which the glaze starts at the centre and opens outward: amber, rose, coral, copper. A sunrise held in a bowl.
The doily pattern beneath the glaze catches the light in fine lines. Good on its own, better still with a single lemon resting on the floor.
Made by hand in Katwijk aan Zee.
