Kantschaal — Terracotta

Handmade lace ceramic bowl — large statement piece pressed by hand with

vintage lace, fired twice, finished in cream and dusty terracotta. One of

a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio.

Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Each bowl is a quiet little ritual. The outside rim is soft cream; the centre

glows in dusty pink and old rose, framing a delicate doily-like lace impression

that catches the light. The edges curve like a flower in the wind — gently

irregular, never identical, always one of a kind.

At 22 cm across, this is a generous size — large enough for fruit, bread or

a centrepiece, yet still elegant enough to display jewellery and small treasures.

Use it for:

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped, dimensions may vary by 0.5–1 cm

between bowls. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every bowl is

truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio. Every

bowl is rolled, lace-pressed, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet,

and never two alike. The lace pattern comes from real vintage doilies, pressed

into soft clay so the texture is permanently captured in stoneware. When you

receive yours, know that it carries hours of someone's day inside it.

Wrapped with care in recycled tissue paper, packed in a sturdy box with extra

cushioning for safe travel, and tied with natural twine. Every order includes

a handwritten thank-you note from our studio.
