Knopvaas Coral Reef II
VAT included
Handmade coral-reef ceramic bud vase, small sculptural piece hand-pinched with a sponge-textured coral relief at the base, finished in weathered teal, copper-rust and sage glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone. Like a piece of coral pulled from the North Sea. Soft sage and teal drift across the body, with rust-copper drips at the rim and a sculpted coral-reef texture at the base, the kind of surface you'd find on a tidepool stone or an aged bronze artefact. The reactive glaze pools, drips and crystallises in the kiln, leaving tiny snow-bubble pools where the colours met. At 13 cm tall, this is a perfect bud-vase size, generous enough for a single stem, a few wildflowers, or a small dried bouquet, yet sculptural enough to display alone as a quiet piece of nature. Use it for: ✦ a single-stem bud vase for a tulip, rose or wildflower ✦ a small dried-bouquet display on a bedside table or shelf ✦ a coastal-style or beach-house decor accent on a sideboard ✦ a standalone sculptural object on a desk or windowsill ✦ a wedding-gift, housewarming or anniversary thoughtful piece THE DETAILS
