Tulpenvaas Rainbow Dawn

Handmade rainbow ceramic vase, large statement piece hand-sculpted with flowing petal reliefs, finished in coral pink, sunset orange, ocean blue, sage green and lime glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone. Like a sunset wrapping itself around a mountain. Coral-pink rises at the rim, melts into bands of warm orange and ocean blue at the centre, then slips down into soft lime and sage at the base, every band of colour separated by a hand-sculpted petal or leaf curling across the surface. The reactive glaze pools, drips and crystallises in the kiln, leaving glassy textures and tiny bubble-like pools where the colours met and melted. At 23 cm tall, this is a generous size, large enough to hold a full bouquet of tulips, hydrangeas or pampas grass, yet sculptural enough to display alone as a centrepiece of art.
