Handmade rainbow ceramic vase — large statement piece hand-sculpted with stacked horizon bands of pink, orange, sage, blue and lilac glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio.

Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Like a layered sunset over a calm sea, frozen in clay. Coral pink rises at the rim, melts into glowing orange, slips into soft sage green, sinks into ocean blue, and finally settles into deep lilac at the base — every band of colour separated by a hand-pinched ridge. The reactive glaze pools, drips and crystallises in the kiln, leaving glassy textures and copper-flecked tidelines where the colours met and melted into one another.

At 21 cm tall, this is a generous size — large enough to hold a full bouquet of tulips, peonies or pampas grass, yet sculptural enough to display alone as a centrepiece of art.

Materials: stoneware clay, food-safe reactive glaze, lead-free

Colours: coral pink, blazing orange, sage green, ocean blue, lilac and copper — with reactive glaze pooling and crystallising naturally

Each piece: 2–4 hours of careful handwork, then 48 hours in the kiln across two firings — no two are alike

Watertight — suitable for fresh flowers, full bouquets, or dried bunches

Care: hand-wash recommended; not microwave/dishwasher tested

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped and the reactive glaze flows unpredictably in the kiln, dimensions, colour and pattern may vary slightly between vases. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every vase is truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio. Every vase is pinched, sculpted, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet, and never two alike. The reactive rainbow glazes are unpredictable: they crawl, bubble and pool in the kiln, creating the painterly horizon you see here. We never know exactly what will come out — each piece is a small surprise.

Wrapped with care in recycled tissue paper, packed in a sturdy box with extra cushioning for safe travel, and tied with natural twine. Every order includes a handwritten thank-you note from our studio.
