Tulpenvaas Sage Bloom
VAT included
Handmade meadow ceramic vase, small sculptural piece hand-pinched with a sculpted pink-blossom relief, finished in soft sage-green, moss and rose-pink glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone. Like a wild strawberry tucked into a spring meadow. Soft sage and moss-green sweep across the body in dappled watercolour-like patches, while a single hand-sculpted pink bloom curls down one side, glowing in deep rose, coral and pearl. The reactive glaze pools, drips and crystallises in the kiln, leaving glassy textures and tiny lichen-like marks where the colours met. At 14 cm tall, this is a perfect small-vase size, generous enough to hold a small bouquet of tulips, wildflowers or sweet peas, yet sculptural enough to display alone as a quiet piece of springtime. Use it for: ✦ a tulip, peony or wildflower vase on a dining table ✦ a single-stem bud vase for a rose or sweet pea ✦ a cottage-core, cottagecore or shabby-chic decor accent on a windowsill ✦ a standalone sculptural object on a bedside table or shelf ✦ a wedding-gift, housewarming, anniversary or Mother's Day thoughtful piece THE DETAILS
