Handmade sunset mountain ceramic vase — hand-sculpted into a small landscape at sunset, with a hidden cave archway carved into the mountainside. Finished in coral red, sunset orange, rose pink and sage green reactive glaze. One of a kind, made in the Netherlands by a mother-and-son studio. Only one exists in the world. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Like a mountain sanctuary catching the last light. Coral-red skies burn across the top, mountain peaks in orange and rose stand tall, and hidden in the valley — a dark cave archway leads somewhere deep and quiet. A story vase for lovers of hidden landscapes and slow craft.

At 19 cm tall and 11 cm wide, this is a real statement piece — generous enough for a single bloom, dried grasses or even a small bouquet, striking enough to stand alone as sculpture on a shelf, sideboard or mantel.

* Each piece: 2–4 hours of careful handwork, then 48 hours in the kiln across two firings — no two are alike

* Care: hand-wash recommended; not microwave/dishwasher tested

Please note: as each piece is hand-shaped and the reactive glaze flows unpredictably in the kiln, dimensions and pattern may vary slightly. This is part of the charm of handmade work — every vase is truly unique.

— THE STORY —

We are a mother and son working side by side in a small Dutch studio in Katwijk aan Zee, just a few streets from the North Sea. Every vase is rolled, sculpted, glazed and fired by our hands — slow, quiet, and never two alike. This one was sculpted from a memory of a mountain valley at sunset — the light dying on the ridges, a hidden cave still catching the last shadow. The reactive glaze is unpredictable: it crawls, bubbles and pools in the kiln, creating the sunset watercolor you see here. We never know exactly what will come out — each piece is a small surprise.

Wrapped with care in recycled tissue paper, packed in a sturdy box with extra cushioning for safe travel, and tied with natural twine. Every order includes a handwritten thank-you note from our studio.
